Many ailments begin with the quality of water we put into our body. Many a times we have drink water only when we are thirsty. Vegetarian Eating for Sports
Athletes need more protein but most athletes get plenty of protein through regular eating. There is a misconception that athletes need a huge daily intake of protein to build large, strong muscles. Muscle growth comes from regular training and hard work. And taking in too much protein can actually harm the body, causing dehydration, calcium loss, and even kidney problems. Good sources of protein are legume, eggs, dairy, nuts, soy, and peanut butter.
Carbohydrates
Good sources of carbohydrates include fruits, vegetables, and grains. Whole grains are better choice (such as brown rice, oatmeal, whole-wheat bread) as these grains has a slower release of sugar as compared to their more processed counterparts like white rice and white bread. That's because whole grains provide both the energy athletes need to perform and the fiber and other nutrients they need to be healthy.
Calcium
Calcium helps build the strong bones that athletes depend on, and iron carries oxygen to muscles. To get the iron you need, eat green, leafy vegetables; and iron-fortified cereals. Calcium — a must for protecting against stress fractures — is found in dairy foods, such as low-fat milk, yogurt, and cheese.
Hydration
Water is important to unlocking your game power as food. When you perspire during games, it's easy to become overheated, headach, and worn out — especially in hot or humid weather like Malaysia and Singapore. Even mild dehydration can affect an athlete's physical and mental performance. Athletes should drink before and after exercise as well as every 15 to 20 minutes during exercise. Don't wait until you feel thirsty, because thirst is an indication that your body needed the water sometime ago.
Eating for a Game
Irregardless of whatever sports/games you are in you do not want to your game to be interrupted by having to go to the relief yourself. So you do not want to fill your stomach with high fiber foods the night before.

Different Types of Vegetarian
What is Vegetarian? Vegetarian is someone who does not include meat in their diet.
There are different types of Vegetarian. I didnt understand that very well when I initially expose to all the meals on board the aircraft. Especially when the passenger requested for vegetarian meal and theire meals were not loaded on board the aircraft due to some miscommunications along the way.
Vegans - Someone who does not include meat and animal product such as milk, cheese, eggs and honey but funny they consume pseudo meat.
Lacto Vegetarians- This group of vegetarin include dairy products in their diet but not eggs.
Ovo Vegetarians - Eat eggs but not dairy product.
(Lacto Ovo Vegetarian) - These group of vegetarian includes eggs and dairy products in their diets.
Pescatarian - This group consider themselves as vegetarian. They abstain from animal flesh with the exception of fish. (When I was a christian this was the diet I kept especially on Friday and during the time of Lent 40 days before good friday.) Some are on this diet because of health reasons.
Raw Foodists - This category of vegetarian eat mainly raw food or food heat up to 46 degree celsius, foods cooked above this temperature have lost a significant amount of their nutritional value and are harmful to the body. Cooking processes destroy the enzymes. (Some food turn toxic in the process of cooking especially meat and the properties of the food changes especially high heat. )
Semi-vegetarian - These group of vegetarian will go on vegetarian maybe half a day till noon or 6pm and on certain days of the month.
So What kind of Vegetarian are you and why do you want to be vegetarian.

Spinach, Carrots, chillis pepper pods, mustards, cabbage, cauliflower sweet potatoes, mushroms, fungus, lingzhi. These vegetables are beneficial for our 5 main organs, namely Liver, Heart, Spleen, Lungs and kidney.
Some chinese people tend to have a misconception that by eating the same type of organs from and animal it will help to nourish the same organs that one has. Think about it... come back for more
